Period 7
Good day to all. Very excited about last week, the tables are installed and all the garden boxes have the gopher wire on them. Lots of good stuff here. I was told that we are getting a delivery of rock today but it might not be here in time. So, we will work on sprucing up the flower beds around the 300 Building until we get the load of rock to finish our garden.
Period 1
Good day everyone. We are going to take a break from our chairs and tables today and work on finishing up the garden area. Mr. Niehoff would like us to get that looking good before our Academic Showcase on the 24th. So, that is what we will do. I was told that we will have topsoil delivered today, so we will hopefully be able to fill the garden boxes with that as well. I hope all of you are as excited as I am that this project is getting closer to the finish.
Thursday:
Hey Folks! Sorry I am not here today. I am at MJC giving a presentation to all the Ag Student Teachers in CA. It's super cool, I am presenting all about teaching Earth Science. Anyway, two things for you to do today. You will take a quiz about the information you read in this Wiki. After that, you will create a short presentation about a project you find online that you would like to build.
Why? Because a local wood worker and logger, Jeff Otto, randomly donated over 1000 board feet of custom cut Ponderosa Pine lumber to the shop. Most is 1" thick, some 2" and some 2.5" I even have some half rounds of trunks. So we have free lumber to do cool stuff with! Awesome!
